We have another project to share with you by Stacey from Embracing Change. It’s a lovely white dresser transformation!

Hi again! Stacey here from Embracing Change… so glad you have stopped back :O) I am honored to have been selected to be a part of the 2014 Blog Squad for Country Chic Paint! I am seriously blessed.

I am excited to show you a project that I recently completed with this paint! Oh how I love this paint. L-O-V-E it. It is really awesome.
I purchased this rather cute oak antique dresser off Craigslist this week. The truth is that I have a slight obsession for dressers. Ok… MAJOR obsession. They are my favorite pieces to redo. This was no exception.

Sorry for the lousy before picture! I was so eager to begin, I nearly forgot to take a picture.

I used Simplicity on this piece. Simplicity is a gorgeous, pure white. It covered up that old dresser so perfectly well. I think it was the right color choice. For a gal that likes to paint in color, I think Simplicity fit her well. And it distressed so nicely. Who doesn’t love a chippy white dresser after all?

Stacey {Embracing Change}

My name is Stacey and I blog about my creative endeavors at Embracing Change. I dabble in blogging about my family and my faith as well as some crafts and recipes although my blog is primarily about painting and bring old and ugly furniture back to life. I love finding an old, ugly piece of furniture and making it pretty and new. It is my creative passion! My day job is being a mommy to two sweet girls and married to a pastor working alongside of him in ministry. Painting is what I do in my free time and for fun. My hobby has developed into a side creative endeavor as well and I have established The Blessed Nest whereby I now sell my creations to those that also have a love for all old things made new!
