Stacey from Embracing Change is back with her next piece: a very elegant dresser in Country Chic Paint’s Elegance.

Hello! This is Stacey from Embracing Change and I am back with another furniture makeover for you. Have you gathered yet that making over furniture is my passion? My creative outlet. My therapy.

The funny thing is that I have my Master’s in clinical psychology. I used to work in therapy to help children and families that struggled with mental health issues. And now I do therapy on furniture! Isn’t that something?

Take this piece for example: She had great bones and was stunningly beautiful. I chose to paint her with Elegance from Country Chic Paint. Lastly, I sealed her up with my Natural Wax from Country Chic Paint.

It is a very soft and sweet blue. She looks lovely and elegant now. Now she has great presence. The choice of color and paint was just right. I am pleased!

Stacey {Embracing Change}

My name is Stacey and I blog about my creative endeavors at Embracing Change. I dabble in blogging about my family and my faith as well as some crafts and recipes although my blog is primarily about painting and bring old and ugly furniture back to life. I love finding an old, ugly piece of furniture and making it pretty and new. It is my creative passion! My day job is being a mommy to two sweet girls and married to a pastor working alongside of him in ministry. Painting is what I do in my free time and for fun. My hobby has developed into a side creative endeavor as well and I have established The Blessed Nest whereby I now sell my creations to those that also have a love for all old things made new!
