A “Charm”ing Dollhouse

Tricia from Little Cottage on the Pond decided to liven up her childhood doll house with a few touches of Rustic Charm.

One of the things my mom kept all these years is the doll house we played with when we were kids. I love that I can pop upstairs and rearrange furniture- seriously, as an adult it is so relaxing to just disappear into a lovely miniature world!

I decided to crack open a can of Rustic Charm to give a couple of miniature tables a fresh new look. These were so easy to paint using a small brush giving them three coats of paint and just a bit of clear wax to finish them off.

I styled each one using the decorations from the “sewing room”. So glad my doll house mom sews, because I don’t! Then I styled the second table as a bedside table complete with French phone.

This was a super easy project that would be fun for both kids and kids-at-heart to do!
