Stacey from Embracing Change turned her Craigslist find desk into a beautiful vintage two-toned piece in Vanilla Frosting and Pebble Beach!

Hello!

I am Stacey and I blog at Embracing Change about my furniture makeovers.
Bringing old pieces of furniture back to life is my passion!

I found this very nice, but quite uninteresting desk on Craigslist. I could see it was a piece of very nice quality, but it had no visual appeal whatsoever.

She was in need of a transformation!

I used Country Chic’s Vanilla Frosting and Pebble Beach to complete her new look. I applied Minwax’s Antique Walnut stain over the paint with a foam brush as to antique her look a bit. I changed out some of the hardware as some was missing when I got the piece. I added two oil-rubbed bronze knobs from D. Lawless Hardware on the top two drawers.

I love how she came out! Isn’t she pretty?

I adore the color combination of Vanilla Frosting and Pebble Beach! Hmmmm….what else could I paint in this combination?

Thanks for reading!

Stacey {Embracing Change}

My name is Stacey and I blog about my creative endeavors at Embracing Change. I dabble in blogging about my family and my faith as well as some crafts and recipes although my blog is primarily about painting and bring old and ugly furniture back to life. I love finding an old, ugly piece of furniture and making it pretty and new. It is my creative passion! My day job is being a mommy to two sweet girls and married to a pastor working alongside of him in ministry. Painting is what I do in my free time and for fun. My hobby has developed into a side creative endeavor as well and I have established The Blessed Nest whereby I now sell my creations to those that also have a love for all old things made new!
