Minty Vanity

Stacey from Embracing Change created her own custom minty colour by mixing Vanilla Frosting and Bliss!

Hi everyone!
I have had the awesome privilege of being a part of the Country Chic’s Blog Squad this year! I am so glad that I am because I just can’t say enough about how much I love Country Chic’s Paints! Not only do they have an amazing selection of colors, but there paints can be custom-mixed to create new colors, too! That is just what I did on this sweet little vanity I found while out yard saling:

I was driving from one sale to the next when I unexpectedly passed by an unadvertised yard sale…this vanity caught my eye immediately and I did one of those slamming on of the brakes and make a very quick turn into the driveway. My apologies to anyone that may have been behind me that day. I was instantly smitten.
She needed some love, but with some time and attention, she would be an absolute doll! I thought a nice mint would look fabulous on her and since I didn’t have that shade, I decided to make a custom mix using Counry Chic’s Bliss and Vanilla Frosting. I was happy with the color I mixed and I think it suits her well.

I sealed her up in Country Chic’s Natural Wax. Her cut glass green knobs are from D. Lawless Hardware.

Now she is a real gem! I just couldn’t bring myself to sell her…so now I have a new desk :O)
I would love if you stopped by my blog home at Embracing Change to see what other furniture transformations I have going on!
Thanks for reading!

Stacey {Embracing Change}

My name is Stacey and I blog about my creative endeavors at Embracing Change. I dabble in blogging about my family and my faith as well as some crafts and recipes although my blog is primarily about painting and bring old and ugly furniture back to life. I love finding an old, ugly piece of furniture and making it pretty and new. It is my creative passion! My day job is being a mommy to two sweet girls and married to a pastor working alongside of him in ministry. Painting is what I do in my free time and for fun. My hobby has developed into a side creative endeavor as well and I have established The Blessed Nest whereby I now sell my creations to those that also have a love for all old things made new!

Make sure to follow Stacey on her blog Embracing Change, as well as on Pinterest, Facebook!
