I made this rustic nativity for my entry as a reminder to me the reason for the season and for life. The reason why I’m even here, where I’m going, and what I want.

First, I cut a 1×10 down to 11.5″ and stained it with Minwax Dark Walnut.

After it was dry, I used the I used the Hazel and Ruby Nativity Stencil Mask and painted with Country Chic Paint in Vanilla Frosting.

I sanded the edges down and lightly over the rest of the piece to rough it up a bit using my Ryobi Corner Cat.
