Looking for a way to spruce up your yard sale finds? Cait from Little City Farmhouse is back today to share two beautiful looks with us that you can create with Country Chic Paint!

Hello! It’s Cait from Little City Farmhouse, back to share with you a quick way to inject some personality into your yard sale finds!

Where I live, yard sale season is upon us! My kids and I affectionately call yard sales “treasure hunting”! We have all at one time or another either owned or have seen these styles of tables. In their dark lacquered finish, they aren’t all that appealing. But with a new dose of colour they can be the perfect fit for your room!

I started first with the coffee table. Country Chic recently launched their newest Limited Edition line, and released what is possibly the perfect neutral for any colour scheme! Whether you decorate in shades of white, browns, or greys, Sunday Tea is the neutral shade you need in your space! It is my new all time favourite neutral!

I painted the table in two coats of Sunday Tea, lightly distressed the edges, and topped it off with natural wax.

For the side table, I knew a pop of colour is exactly what it needed! It got two coats of the most gorgeous shade of turquoise, Bliss! It is such a pretty shade, and a perfect injection of colour!

I finished it by simply sanding it smooth, distressing the edges lightly, and giving it a coat of clear wax.

Have fun with your treasure hunting!

Cait {Little City Farmhouse}

Hello! I’m Cait! I am a wife and a mom of two little ones, and a proud auntie of a growing little flock! I first started by refinishing several pieces in my own home, and fell in love with it. Slowly it turned into a business and something I could do from home. I love the thrill of finding old furniture, and I adore the process of refinishing it into something new and fresh. Refinishing furniture is the heart of my business. I believe your home should reflect who you are, and I love helping people get the look they want in their homes by refinishing their furniture for them.
