Stunning, Sophisticated Dresser

Cait from Little City Farmhouse tried out our new limited edition color, Peacoat on this chic dresser. Come read all about it!

Hi there! I’m Cait from Little City Farmhouse and I am thrilled to be able to share with you a project using Country Chic’s newest Limited Edition line! The line-up is exceptional, with so many rich gorgeous colours to choose from! For this dresser I chose Peacoat, a rich navy blue.

I refinished and re-stained the top of the dresser first and then sealed it with Tough Coat. This is my go-to topcoat for stained pieces!
I then painted the dresser in two coats of the All-in-One paint in Peacoat.

The colour is stunning!! This was a pretty basic refinishing job, but the results are gorgeous!
I sanded the entire dresser lightly, distressing the edges, and a gave it a coat of Antique Wax to richen up the colour even more – although a topcoat isn’t necessary with this paint!

Navy is such a classic colour – Peacoat is definitely going to be a favourite shade here this season!

Cait {Little City Farmhouse}

Hello! I’m Cait! I am a wife and a mom of two little ones, and a proud auntie of a growing little flock! I first started by refinishing several pieces in my own home, and fell in love with it. Slowly it turned into a business and something I could do from home. I love the thrill of finding old furniture, and I adore the process of refinishing it into something new and fresh. Refinishing furniture is the heart of my business. I believe your home should reflect who you are, and I love helping people get the look they want in their homes by refinishing their furniture for them.
