Do you love metallics? We do too! Come see how Cait from Little City Farmhouse used Cheesecake, Dark Roast, and Belt Buckle metallic cream to give this table a sophisticated shine.

Hello friends! I’m Cait and I am back with a fun little table makeover for you! If you are hesitant to try painting furniture, or to use new products, small projects like tables are the perfect starting piece and can end up with a big wow factor!

This is a simple but bold makeover. Bold doesn’t always mean intense colour!

I painted the top of this table in two coats of Cheesecake. When it was dry I lightly sanded it and waxed it.

Now to the fun! This table was a really light mint shade, and I wanted to end up with a solid coat of bronze. To avoid having to put many coats of the Metallic Cream on for a solid finish, I painted the bottom of the table first in one coat of Dark Roast. When it was dry, I painted it in two coats of Belt Buckle Metallic Cream.

Metallic Creams are one of my favourite products! I love using them for a solid metallic finish. They dry fast, are very durable, and do not require a topcoat! And the results are fantastic, every time!

Cait {Little City Farmhouse}

Hello! I’m Cait! I am a wife and a mom of two little ones, and a proud auntie of a growing little flock! I first started by refinishing several pieces in my own home, and fell in love with it. Slowly it turned into a business and something I could do from home. I love the thrill of finding old furniture, and I adore the process of refinishing it into something new and fresh. Refinishing furniture is the heart of my business. I believe your home should reflect who you are, and I love helping people get the look they want in their homes by refinishing their furniture for them.
