Looking for the perfect way to give your little girl’s bedroom a grown up look? Cait from Little City Farmhouse chose our limited edition color, Sugar Plum to refinish this dresser! Come read all about it right here.

Hello readers! I recently finished up a beautiful bedroom suite for a little girl – I have shared the bed and nightstand with you and now I’d like to share the dresser with you!

I sanded the dresser down lightly and painted the dresser in two coats of the limited edition colour Sugarplum in the All-in-One paint. It’s a really stunning colour! It dries with such a rich depth, I’ve totally fallen in love with it!

I sanded the dresser to a nice smooth finish when the paint was fully dry. I lightly distressed it to highlight the edges and shape of the dresser.

For added protection, I added a coat of clear wax to the entire dresser. This is optional with this paint but since it will be a highly used piece I added the extra layer of protection!

To take the dresser over the top, we added different vintage style knobs to each drawer. The two on the bottom are brand new knobs from Country Chic Paint! They’re so pretty! The vintage gold on all the knobs pairs so beautifully with Sugarplum!

Cait {Little City Farmhouse}

Hello! I’m Cait! I am a wife and a mom of two little ones, and a proud auntie of a growing little flock! I first started by refinishing several pieces in my own home, and fell in love with it. Slowly it turned into a business and something I could do from home. I love the thrill of finding old furniture, and I adore the process of refinishing it into something new and fresh. Refinishing furniture is the heart of my business. I believe your home should reflect who you are, and I love helping people get the look they want in their homes by refinishing their furniture for them.
