Cait from Little City Farmhouse used Belt Buckle metallic cream and our limited edition color, Eggnog to spruce up this matching table set for her living room!

Hello readers!

Have you had the chance to use Country Chic’s new limited edition colours yet? I’ve used several of them and they’re gorgeous! Today I wanted to share with you a set of tables that I refinished in Eggnog.

My client was tired of all the oak in her house and wanted something new and special, without being too much. For these tables, I painted the legs and aprons in Belt Buckle. It adds a richness and slight shimmer while still staying neutral. I gave them two coats. The metallic creams dry to a very hard finish so there’s no need to topcoat them!

After they dried for 24 hours, I lightly sanded the tops and bases to take the shiny finish down a bit. I taped off the legs with paper tape and gave the tables two coats of Eggnog in the All-in-One decor paint. It has fantastic adhesion, sands and distresses beautifully, and doesn’t require a topcoat!

When they were fully dry, I distressed them and sanded them smooth.

The Eggnog pairs beautifully with Belt Buckle! These tables went from dated to fresh with just a few coats of paint!

Hello! I’m Cait! I am a wife and a mom of two little ones, and a proud auntie of a growing little flock! I first started by refinishing several pieces in my own home, and fell in love with it. Slowly it turned into a business and something I could do from home. I love the thrill of finding old furniture, and I adore the process of refinishing it into something new and fresh. Refinishing furniture is the heart of my business. I believe your home should reflect who you are, and I love helping people get the look they want in their homes by refinishing their furniture for them.
