Lindsey from Everyday Originals used Devotion and a touch of antiquing wax to spruce up this old window frame into some cute, festive porch décor!

A friend gave me these frames which were picture frames, but the glass was broken and they were pretty beat up. I knew one would be perfect for jazz up our front porch for the holidays.

I had just enough of CCP’s Devotion leftover from another project, which was the perfect pop of color the house needed. I gave the frame two coats of paint and let it dry for a few hours. I then used the antiquing wax to tone down the brightness of the red a little. I used a little wax at a time until I reached the look I was going for.

The result was the perfect shade of deep red. I added a gold star and a string of lights and hung it on the front of the house. It adds such charm to our very bland, very white house!

Stay tuned for an update to the second frame!
