Come see the incredible transformation of this piece by Heidi from Lily Field Furniture in Liquorice!
Morning Country Chic readers! Today I am here to show you a simple makeover on this gorgeous leggy server.
BEFORE:
The picture is deceiving- It was not in nearly as good of shape as it looks in the picture! I always love transforming pieces like this because they are so useful and versatile. They work perfectly in an entry way, bathroom or even a small dining room as a bar or coffee station!
My client decided to keep it timeless and versatile so we went with Liquorice and no distressing. After prepping and painting the server I sealed it with Top Coat for extra durability.
AFTER:
Such an easy transformation that packs a big punch!
Heidi {Lily Field Furniture}
Hello! My name is Heidi and I am the face behind Lily Field Furniture. I spend my days being a wife and mom and my late nights in the garage painting away! I absolutely love the job that I have and have so much fun with the process of thrifting and then refinishing furniture in a creative way. It’s so rewarding to see the amazing transformation that just a little paint can make!
Make sure to follow Heidi on her blog Lily Field Furniture, as well as on Facebook, Pinterest, and Instagram!

Beautiful! I’d love to do something similar. Did you roll the paint? And top coat?
Thank you!
Hi Candice,
I believe Heidi used a normal, synthetic paint brush, but she may have use a sprayer too! I would recommend contacting her on her blog for full details on this piece.
Happy painting!
