Cait from Little City Farmhouse has created another gorgeous, antique-style sign for her home. Come find out how she upcycled a table leaf into this fun wall decor!

Hello Country Chic Paint readers!

I’m back with a fun and sentimental project! Growing up we always had the same kitchen table, and when my hubby and I got married, the table was passed down to me. It was your average kitchen table, but I loved all the dings and dents and gentle reminders of growing up with my siblings! When my hubby and I bought a new table, I kept a leaf from the table to turn into something for my own home!

I wanted a look of age and wear, so I painted three different coats of paint on it: Cobblestone, Vanilla Frosting, and Cheesecake. I added Cheesecake over the Vanilla Frosting for that “yellows slightly over time” look!

I sanded and distressed the entire thing really well. When it was cleaned up, I added the word Farmhouse. The All-in-One paint doesn’t require a topcoat – my favourite part about this formula!

The sign delightfully hangs in my kitchen now! Funny what joy a little paint and a memory can do!

Cait {Little City Farmhouse}

Hello! I’m Cait! I am a wife and a mom of two little ones, and a proud auntie of a growing little flock! I first started by refinishing several pieces in my own home, and fell in love with it. Slowly it turned into a business and something I could do from home. I love the thrill of finding old furniture, and I adore the process of refinishing it into something new and fresh. Refinishing furniture is the heart of my business. I believe your home should reflect who you are, and I love helping people get the look they want in their homes by refinishing their furniture for them.
