Lee Ann from Creative Moments used Tropical Cocktail and Tough Coat to beautify this little toy wagon. Come find out more about it!

I am a huge teal/turquoise fan, it is the accent color of my home. I am drawn to it in every color pallet of paint out there. Country Chic Paint’s tropical cocktail was the first color my eye went to and I knew I had to try it.

I originally had planned on painting this cute little pine wagon shelf a traditional red but my sister suggested doing it tropical cocktail for a fun rendition.

I chose it in their chalk-based formula and applied 2 coats. What a gorgeous color.

To add a bit of contrast and dimension, the wheels got a few coats of glossy white and highlighted inside the hearts and outside the wheel with the pretty blue.

All was sealed with 2 coats of Country Chic Paint’s Tough Coat which has a satin finish.

Lee Ann {Creative Moments}

Hello, my name is Lee Ann and I am the creator at Creative Moments. I have always had a love for vintage pieces and an interest in recycling/repurposing. Creative Moments became the outlet for both. Reloving a piece of furniture no longer in style, in disrepair or tossed aside into a “new, one of a kind” piece makes my heart sing. I love seeing these pieces becoming a part of a home, adding character and charm and providing years of enjoyment.

Make sure to follow Lee Ann on her blog Creative Moments, as well as on Facebook, Pinterest, Hometalk, and Instagram!
