Come read all about this gorgeous Fresh Mustard cabinet by Cait from Little City Farmhouse!

Hello readers!

My favourite pieces to paint are those that have a history behind them, but need a fresh look. This cabinet was an old pharmacy cabinet from a local shop. It was definitely tired and dated and needed paint!

This piece belongs in my sister’s dining room and she wanted a pop of colour, so I painted the exterior of the cabinet in two coats of Fresh Mustard in the All-in-One formula.

We left the interior of the cabinet unpainted to give it dimension.

I distressed the cabinet to give it an authentic look for it’s age. To add a touch of sheen, I gave it a light coat of Clear Wax.

It turned out beautifully! The perfect piece for displaying cherished items! The Fresh Mustard is the perfect pop of colour!

Cait {Little City Farmhouse}

Hello! I’m Cait! I am a wife and a mom of two little ones, and a proud auntie of a growing little flock! I first started by refinishing several pieces in my own home, and fell in love with it. Slowly it turned into a business and something I could do from home. I love the thrill of finding old furniture, and I adore the process of refinishing it into something new and fresh. Refinishing furniture is the heart of my business. I believe your home should reflect who you are, and I love helping people get the look they want in their homes by refinishing their furniture for them.
