Come read all about this stunning dresser refurbished by Cait from Little City Farmhouse in Bliss and her favorite Country Chic Paint product, Pocket Watch metallic cream!

Hello readers!

I’ve said it so many times, but I will say it again – I absolutely love Country Chic’s Metallic Creams! Pocket Watch is my favourite, and I am excited to share another project using it!

My daughter has had this dresser since she was a wee baby, but now that she’s seven it’s time to get her room spruced up! You might have seen the wall in her room I painted in Country Chic’s Cherry Blossom (you can read about it by clicking here).

Her room has a slightly shabby moroccan vibe, so I knew I wanted something bright and cheerful and definitely gold!

I painted the shell of the dresser in Bliss. I chose not to distress to age it at all because the dresser had previously been white and I didn’t want that showing through. I simply coated the dresser in a light coat of Natural Wax.

I painted the drawers in several coats of Pocket Watch Metallic Cream until I was happy with the coverage.

I love how the dresser turned out, and more importantly, my daughter loves it!

Cait {Little City Farmhouse}

Hello! I’m Cait! I am a wife and a mom of two little ones, and a proud auntie of a growing little flock! I first started by refinishing several pieces in my own home, and fell in love with it. Slowly it turned into a business and something I could do from home. I love the thrill of finding old furniture, and I adore the process of refinishing it into something new and fresh. Refinishing furniture is the heart of my business. I believe your home should reflect who you are, and I love helping people get the look they want in their homes by refinishing their furniture for them.
