This antique telephone table was brought back to it’s former beauty by Jennifer from White Tulip Designs with Liquorice!

Hi, it’s Jennifer from White Tulip Designs. I’m so excited to share my newest furniture project with you.

I’ve had this sweet (well, sad) telephone table since I was in college. I traded a clock radio for it and I never regretted it for one minute. She’s been dragged from apartment to house for almost 25 years patiently waiting for me to decide what to do with her.

Her top was cracked, badly faded, and warped (which caused a terrible wobble) but I just always felt like she had so much character. I decided to remove the top altogether and add a new, larger one with a nice, simple trim. Then I sanded the legs to remove some slight imperfections in the wood. Then I gave her a new black outfit of chic “Liquorice” from Country Chic’s All-In-One paints!

What a transformation! Now she’s the perfect addition to the living room, without a warp or wobble in sight!
