Cait from Little City Farmhouse used Country Chic Paint ceramic rose knobs to give this dresser in Rustic Charm the perfect, sweet touch!

Hello readers!

I have been working on this project for quite some time! It’s one of those pieces that came out when I had time, and to the back of my workroom when I had other projects that were needing to be done. When I found the dresser originally, I immediately had a vision for it. I wanted colour, but rustic, with really great hardware.

I decided to paint the dresser in Rustic Charm. This colour is gorgeous, a definite pop in your home decor!

I gave the dresser two coats. When it was dry, I gave it a good sanding, distressing it where natural wear would occur. I then waxed it with a combination of Clear and Antique Wax, making sure to get the dark wax into the grain and imperfections of the wood.

I put a new rustic pine top on it. After I stained it, I gave it two coats of Tough Coat to seal it and give it protection.

To top the dresser off, I added these gorgeous white floral knobs from Country Chic! They are stunning knobs, perfect for this piece! They pop off the green so well!

Hello! I’m Cait! I am a wife and a mom of two little ones, and a proud auntie of a growing little flock! I first started by refinishing several pieces in my own home, and fell in love with it. Slowly it turned into a business and something I could do from home. I love the thrill of finding old furniture, and I adore the process of refinishing it into something new and fresh. Refinishing furniture is the heart of my business. I believe your home should reflect who you are, and I love helping people get the look they want in their homes by refinishing their furniture for them.
