Here’s a quick DIY project that can freshen up any space! Angie from The Painted Piano used Vanilla Frosting to give this chair a cleaner, brighter look.

A little paint goes a long way, and that was certainly the case with this chair! I painted it for a client who will be using it as a prop for her photography business. It just needed some fresh, creamy white paint to give it the bright, clean look that is her photography signature.

The chair required minimal prep work, as is always the case when using Country Chic paint: I used a little TSP (trisodium phosphate) and some elbow grease to clean off years of grime, quickly roughed up the surface with 220-grit sandpaper, and it was ready to paint!

All it took was a couple coats of Vanilla Frosting and some subtle distressing on the edges to turn this chair from drab to fab.
