Have you seen our new limited edition color, Luna yet? Cait from Little City Farmhouse used it for this dresser transformation and the results are stunning!

Hello!

Are you loving the new Limited Edition colours Country Chic released? I love the muted and moody tones and I know I will be stocking up on all of them this season! The lightest colour in the collection is this muted, minty green, Luna. Once I started painting with it, I knew I was going to be hooked.

I gave the dresser a coat of paint and I started to get yellow/brown bleed-through from the wood. The dresser was not a piece I would have ever expected it from, but I rolled with hit. I applied three coats of Shellac and gave it a good long cure time – it was a couple of days before I came back to paint it again. I gave it two more coats of Luna with success!

This dresser had minimal detail, which is often the case with Waterfall style furniture. I distressed it lightly to highlight the detail it had.

The All-in-One formula doesn’t require a topcoat, and I love the way the matte finish played against the gold knobs and so I chose to leave it without an additional topcoat.

The colour was perfect for this piece – a calm but classic look.

Hello! I’m Cait! I am a wife and a mom of two little ones, and a proud auntie of a growing little flock! I first started by refinishing several pieces in my own home, and fell in love with it. Slowly it turned into a business and something I could do from home. I love the thrill of finding old furniture, and I adore the process of refinishing it into something new and fresh. Refinishing furniture is the heart of my business. I believe your home should reflect who you are, and I love helping people get the look they want in their homes by refinishing their furniture for them.
