This incredible dresser transformation is the work of Cait from Little City Farmhouse! She used Lazy Linen, Pebble Beach, Rocky Mountain, and Natural Wax to give it new life.

Hello readers!

This dresser was a really fun project to do. I wanted to keep the piece really neutral, but add impact and interest.

I started by painting the shell of the dresser in Pebble Beach and the drawers in Lazy Linen. I gave each two coats. Then I measured and taped off a stripe on each of the drawers. I painted the stripe in Pebble Beach to tie in the shell of the dresser.

Next, I painted the numbers on the dresser drawers using Rocky Mountain – a deep rich charcoal grey. All three greys – Pebble Beach, Lazy Linen, and Rocky Mountain – are cooler tones and work really well together.

I lightly distressed the entire piece and gave it a coat of Natural Wax. The result is neutral but with big impact!

Cait {Little City Farmhouse}

Hello! Iā€™m Cait! I am a wife and a mom of two little ones, and a proud auntie of a growing little flock! I first started by refinishing several pieces in my own home, and fell in love with it. Slowly it turned into a business and something I could do from home. I love the thrill of finding old furniture, and I adore the process of refinishing it into something new and fresh. Refinishing furniture is the heart of my business. I believe your home should reflect who you are, and I love helping people get the look they want in their homes by refinishing their furniture for them.
