Olivia from Rustic Owl Treasures beautified this end table with Midnight Sky and Natural Wax to make the gold hardware pop!

Hey y’all, Olivia here. Today I am going share a makeover of an end table that I found at the store where I have a small booth. The owner said I could paint it. It needed a little love as one of the handles was falling off and there were scratches and dings. This is how it started out…

With this end table I decided to go with Country Chic Paint’s Midnight Sky which is a perfect navy blue color!

It took two coats to get good coverage. Its always best to do two coats anyway so you don’t have such a thin layer of paint! After that I waited just long enough for it to be dry then I used a wet rag and small sanding block to distress in certain areas.

After I finished distressing the end table I finished it in Natural Wax and painted the knobs in liquid gold leaf.

I love how the end table turned out and the contrast between the gold leaf knobs and the navy blue looks great together.
