This fantastic, charcoal gray dresser was refurbished by Julie from Salvage Sisters & Co. with Rocky Mountain and Natural Wax!

Hi everyone, today I am showcasing Rocky Mountain Country Chic Paint. It’s such a deep rich color, it really is stunning all by itself. This piece was actually in great shape to begin with but I thought it could be even more remarkable!

(I was so excited to start on this piece I almost forgot before pictures)

After two coats of this rich charcoal color, I lightly sanded the edges and places that would naturally be worn with 220 grit sand paper.

I kept this dresser on the more masculine side using larger more industrial hardware and finished it up with a coat of natural wax.

I love how this turned out and it looks awesome in the foyer!

Thanks for stopping by and stay warm!

Stacy & Julie {Salvage Sisters & Co}

We are two sisters living in Nebraska and Colorado pursuing our dream of having a business together – painting, repurposing and salvaging furniture and decor. In 2014 after a few years in the south, Stacy moved back to Nebraska. With our distance apart being less excruciating we decided to jump on the opportunity to follow our passion for crafting and start doing festivals and shows. Thanks to all of our friends in the community our tent was bare by the end of each weekend! We quickly learned our dreams were becoming a reality and we needed a way to be more in touch on a daily basis and so, our online store was born.

As we continue to grow we strive for our business to embody all of the things that we hold nearest to our heart- family, community and home. The Salvage Sisters are all about spending time together with the people we love and there’s no better place to do that than home. We are inspired by comfortable, lived-in homes that are filled with a perfect balance of both old and new. We hope that our passion shines from the warmth of our hearts into your home.
