Andrea from Crossroad Creations used our limited edition color, Confetti topped with Natural Wax and Cedar Antiquing Dust to beautify these matching end tables!

This cute pair of end tables were given a fresh new look featuring a refinished top and a new coat of paint on the base in one of Country Chic Paints limited edition colors for Spring/Summer, Confetti.

The Confetti paint color is a beautiful neutral that really paired well with the natural wood stain on the tops of the tables. I did not want to create a heavily aged finish on the table bases, but still wanted to subtly accent the details in the legs, so I chose to use the Cedar Antiquing Dust.

The first step was to use a thin layer of the Natural Wax before using a brush to apply the antiquing dust in the grooves and edges. After letting this sit for about thirty minutes I used a microfiber cloth to wipe away the excess and buff the wax finish.

I love how the Antiquing Dust allows you to create more dimension in the finish without altering the overall shade of the paint. I cannot wait to use the Confetti paint color on another piece!
