Cait from Little City Farmhouse created this funky wall art using Lazy Linen, Bliss, Texture Powder & more!

Hello! I am popping in today to share with you a really fun project! A friend of mine recently asked me to create a large piece of wall art for her office which was a fun change from painting furniture!

For this project I used these Country Chic products:

  • Lazy Linen
  • Pebble Beach
  • Rocky Mountain
  • Bliss
  • Vanilla Frosting
  • Pocket Watch Metallic Cream
  • Texture Powder

To start I painted the board in two coats of Lazy Linen to create a solid base for the project.  Once it was dry I used painters tape to mark off a geometric pattern. I more or less made it up as I went, taping off until I was happy with the design.

I used stencils from the craft store for certain parts, and paint mixed with Texture Powder for other sections, to create interest and dimension for the piece.

When it was dry I sanded it to distress it and blend it all together. I then gave it a light coat of Natural Wax. My hubby framed it up and it’s ready to hang in our friend’s office! If you have leftover paint from projects, this is a great way to use it!

Cait {Little City Farmhouse}

Hello! I’m Cait! I am a wife and a mom of two little ones, and a proud auntie of a growing little flock! I first started by refinishing several pieces in my own home, and fell in love with it. Slowly it turned into a business and something I could do from home. I love the thrill of finding old furniture, and I adore the process of refinishing it into something new and fresh. Refinishing furniture is the heart of my business. I believe your home should reflect who you are, and I love helping people get the look they want in their homes by refinishing their furniture for them.
