Cait from Little City Farmhouse gave this wicker chair bright, summery style with Fully Bloom and Clear Coat!

Summer is a time in the shop where all I want to do is paint with bold colours! My daughter wanted a little perch in her room to read so I picked up this wicker chair for $20 on a local buy and sell site. It was in desperate need of a paint job – and although I really loved the incredibly worn vintage look of it, I knew it wasn’t going to last….and truth be told, my daughter was not a fan of the intense chippy look!

I picked out a few colours that would match her room and let her decide what she wanted. She chose Full Bloom – a beautiful coral shade. I took the chair outside and hosed it off really well and let it dry in the hot sun.

I used my sprayer for this piece to speed up the process. I sprayed on two solid coats.

I let it dry and then sprayed on two coats of Clear Coat, Country Chic’s newest top coat, to seal it. I snuck it outside for a few photos before she dragged it into her room. She absolutely loves it, and we both love the colour!

Cait {Little City Farmhouse}

Hello! I’m Cait! I am a wife and a mom of two little ones, and a proud auntie of a growing little flock! I first started by refinishing several pieces in my own home, and fell in love with it. Slowly it turned into a business and something I could do from home. I love the thrill of finding old furniture, and I adore the process of refinishing it into something new and fresh. Refinishing furniture is the heart of my business. I believe your home should reflect who you are, and I love helping people get the look they want in their homes by refinishing their furniture for them.
