These DIY glitter mason jars make the perfect weekend craft project! Come find out how Cait from Little City Farmhouse made them.

Here’s what you’ll need:

DIY Glitter Mason Jars | DIY painted mason jars dipped in gold and rose gold German Glass Glitter. Perfect for storing pens, office supplies, kitchen utensils, cosmetic brushes, and more! Painted with eco-friendly furniture paint from Country Chic Paint.

Since glass is such a smooth, non-porous surface, it can be difficult for paint to adhere to, so Cait started by applying a coat of Clear Bonding Primer.

Next, she painted them in Peacoat, Full Bloom, Bliss, and Sunday Tea.

To apply the glitter, Cait taped off the bottom portion of her jars, then painted them with Image Transfer Medium and shook on the glitter.

Cait {Little City Farmhouse}

Hello! I’m Cait! I am a wife and a mom of two little ones, and a proud auntie of a growing little flock! I first started by refinishing several pieces in my own home, and fell in love with it. Slowly it turned into a business and something I could do from home. I love the thrill of finding old furniture, and I adore the process of refinishing it into something new and fresh. Refinishing furniture is the heart of my business. I believe your home should reflect who you are, and I love helping people get the look they want in their homes by refinishing their furniture for them.
