This stunningly sophisticated drum table was not always such a looker. Abbey from Painted Home Goods used Liquorice and her amazing eye to refurbish it and bring it back to life!

The old peeling veneer on this table top made it quite the eye-sore. Luckily for it, Abbey has a good eye for solid pieces of furniture and saw the hidden potential in it.

Plus, for just $5, this thing was a steal!

She started by peeling off the remaining veneer using a heat gun and a putty knife.

After a thin coat of stain on top, Abbey painted the base of the table with our pure black color, Liquorice.

Abbey {Painted Home Goods}

As a mom to twin boys, I am always busy. Twice the fun, twice the work! My Twin Tornadoes and salvaging neglected furniture are my passions. If a twin mom in a small apartment can fix up and paint furniture, so can you! In today’s throw-away culture and tendency towards cheaply made, mass produced home goods, I seek to provide something different, something unique. Bringing new life to discarded finds is my way of contributing to the responsible thrifting counterculture that has become a growing trend. When shopping with PaintedHomeGoods you can feel good about what you buy. Enjoy!
