Hey friends! I recently received some Country Chic Paint products to work with and got this china cabinet given to us by a good family friend. It needed some life brought back to it and I was happy to do so.

I used Country Chic Paint All-In-One Decor Paint in Peacoat and sealed it in their Natural Wax and applied some Willow Antiquing Dust. I am so pleased with how it turned out!

This paint was so easy to work with, I am pretty impressed. There was very minimal prep involved – I didn’t even have to sand my piece first! I can’t lie, when I first saw the jar of paint I thought there was no way I would be able to apply 2 coats on this china cabinet. I applied 2 coats and still have half of a jar left! It goes so far with amazing coverage and I’m loving the final result!

This paint dries matte and I also love the beautiful sheen Natural Wax adds! My shepherd, Dakota thought she would join in on the final result and show you guys how it turned out.

TIP:

I have a funny tip to share with you guys that I learned the hard way with this project. If you have pets, I HIGHLY recommend applying wax in a room that hair can not get on it, and Fully buff your piece before letting your pets near it. I was so pleased after applying the wax but my hand was sore so I thought it would be okay to buff the cabinet the following morning. As a result, when I saw my china cabinet the next morning I wanted to cry. There was hair everywhere! I mean… everywhere. I have 3 large fur babies and I love them dearly, but not when they’re all over my freshly refinished china cabinet! Lots of buffing and picking pieces of hair off later and it looked amazing again!
