This “totally Pawesome” cabinet was painted in our limited edition color, Pawesome by Abbey from Painted Home Goods! She added extra dimension with Limestone Glaze. Come see how!
Country Chic Paint’s new “Furry Friends” paint collection has a number of fun and unexpected colors!
One that I immediately liked was a medium brown color, Pawesome. I typically choose neutrals for vintage pieces like this one because it modernizes while keeping the versatile vintage charm.
After my paint dried I mixed 50/50 Country Chic Paint Limestone Glaze with water and brushed on, wiped off, wet-distressing as I went.
It used to have a pink marble top but I gladly replaced that with a planked top. Matte black bin pulls were just the right finishing touch!

Abbey {Painted Home Goods}
As a mom to twin boys, I am always busy. Twice the fun, twice the work! My Twin Tornadoes and salvaging neglected furniture are my passions. If a twin mom in a small apartment can fix up and paint furniture, so can you! In today’s throw-away culture and tendency towards cheaply made, mass produced home goods, I seek to provide something different, something unique. Bringing new life to discarded finds is my way of contributing to the responsible thrifting counterculture that has become a growing trend. When shopping with PaintedHomeGoods you can feel good about what you buy. Enjoy!

What did you do to the top?
Hi Laura,
The old marble top was replaced with a planked top which Abbey stained with Old Barn Milk Paint One Step Stain in Weathered!
