This moody deep green dresser was painted by Hayden from Two Paws Farmhouse with All-in-One Decor Paint in the color, Hollow Hill and some Antiquing Wax!

I had this dresser in my bedroom that I inherited from my grandmother. I painted it years ago and haven’t touched it since. I haven’t been in love with how it looked and could never find the perfect spot for it in this room. So I busted out the paint brush and decided to see if we could make it work!

Here’s a quick before shot of it once I moved it into its new spot. The color still wasn’t working for me!

I gave it one quick coat of Country Chic Paint in Hollow Hill. This has been my favorite green color and I knew it’d be perfect for a spring/summer color.

You can see it needed one more coat, so I let it dry for a few hours and applied a second coat of Hollow Hill.

Once I had painted two full coats of green on the dresser, I decided to add some dark furniture wax to antique the piece just a little!

I used my Country Chic Paint Wax Brush and lightly dipped in the Antiquing Wax. I apply it heavily in some spots and then wipe the extra left on the brush in the spots I don’t want so much antiquing in. It looks scary at first, but once buffed in, everything blends together!

And the after!

I decorated this area for spring by adding some vintage floral prints I found at a shop in town, and this adorable flower market sign, which I painted the lettering with Hollow Hill as well to match!

Hayden {Two Paws Farmhouse}

My name is Hayden. I’m a small town girl nestled in the town of Paw Paw, Michigan. I am married to the love of my life and we are blessed with a baby girl. My husband and I bought our old farmhouse in June of 2015 and slowly but surely have been working on fixing it up and turning it into the home of our dreams. Home design and decor has always been a passion of mine and it is through home decor that I have learned to express myself. It is my hope that we can create a home that we are happy to share with everyone. I love to scour vintage markets, antique storefronts, garage sales, and your local thrift shops for my next great find. I enjoy turning someone trash into a treasure that I can display in my home.
